24 Apples; quartered (about 6 lbs.)
2 qt Sweet cider
3 c Sugar
1 1/2 ts Ground cinnamon
1/2 ts Cloves
Cook apples in cider until tender. Run through blender to make pulp. Cook until thick enough to round up on spoon. As pulp thickens stir frequently to prevent sticking. Add sugar & spices, cook slowly stirring frequently about 1 hr. or until thick. Seal in jars & process in hot water bath about 10 minutes. Yields about 5 pints.
