Maple French Toast

6 (1/2 inch) thick French bread slices
3 eggs
1/2 c. maple syrup
1/3 c. milk
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. salt
2 tbsp. butter


Place bread in a single layer in 13 x 9 inch dish. Beat eggs, maple syrup, milk, vanilla and salt. Then pour over bread. Cover, refrigerate 3 hours or overnight. Fry until golden brown.
