Maple Cherry Syrup

1 1/2 cups maple syrup
1 cup sugar -- brown, packed
1/2 cup honey
2 orange -- juiced w/1tsp. peel
2 lemon -- juiced w/1tsp. peel
2 tablespoons butter/margarine
1 teaspoon cinnamon -- ground
1 cup cherries -- tart, dried, chopped


Combine maple syrup, brown sugar, honey, juices and grated rind in medium saucepan.

Bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Reduce heat, simmer 10 minutes.

Add cherries, cook 2 minutes. Serve over pancakes, waffles, etc.
