Impossible Chili-Cheese Pie
2 cn (4 ounces each) chopped green Chilies, drained
4 c Shredded cheddar cheese (16 ounces)
2 c Milk
1 c Variety baking mix
Heat oven to 425 degrees. Grease pie plate, 10 X 1-1/2 inches.
Sprinkle chilies and cheese in pie plate. Place remaining ingredients
in blender. Cover and blend on high speed about 15 seconds or until
smooth. (Or beat remaining ingredients on high speed 1 minute.) Pour
into pie plate. Bake 25 to 30 minutes or until knife inserted in
center comes out clean. Cool 10 minutes.
To Microwave: Do not grease pie plate. Decrease milk to
1-1/2 cups. Prepare as directed. Elevate pie plate on inverted
microwavable dinner plate in microwave oven. Microwave on medium-high
(70%) 12 to 18 minutes, rotating pie plate 1/4 turn every 6 minutes,
until knife inserted in center comes out clean. Cool 10 minutes.
