Adobe, Mexican Smoked Chili Marinade

3 oranges -- juice of
lime -- juice of
2 chipotle chiles -- (canned) chopped
30 milliliters garlic -- finely chopped
2 teaspoons oregano -- crushed
1 teaspoon cumin seeds
1 teaspoon black pepper
2 tablespoons wine vinegar
1 teaspoon salt

Combine orange and lime juices, chiles garlic, oregano, cumin, black pepper, vinegar and salt in blender. Puree until smooth.

Makes enough marinade for 1 1/2 to 2 pounds meat or chicken.
