Basic Creams

5 c Dry fondant
2/3 c Marshmallow creme
3 tb Water
1/2 ts Salt
1/4 ts Invertase
1/2 ts Vanilla
Dipping chocolate

Combine 1 1/4 cups dry fondant and remaining ingredients in a large mixing bowl. With a spoon, mix until creamy and smooth. Gradually add remaining dry fondant. Mix with a spoon and then knead with hands until it forms a smooth ball. Make into 3/4-inch balls and dip. Makes about 40 centers

VARIATIONS: Orange oil, orange food coloring, grated orange rind, chopped pecans Lemon oil, yellow food coloring, grated lemon rind Black walnut flavoring, chopped walnuts Peppermint oil, green color Finely chopped candied cherries, red color, almond flavoring
