Blue Cheese Dressing
1 ts Minced garlic
1/4 ts Dry mustard, preferably Coleman's
1/2 ts Black pepper
1/8 ts White pepper
2 tb Red wine vinegar
1/2 ts Worcestershire sauce
ds Hot pepper sauce
1/2 c Sour cream
1 1/2 c Mayonnaise
1/4 c Buttermilk
1/4 lb Maytag blue cheese,
In a bowl whisk together garlic, mustard, black pepper, and white pepper
and whisk in the vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, and hot pepper sauce. Add
the sour cream, mayonnaise, buttermilk and whisk the dressing until it is
combined well. Fold in the blue cheese and chill the dressing, covered,
overnight. The dressing keeps, covered and chilled for 1 week.
Yield: 3 cups
