Louisiana Wild Rice Dressing

1 lb. wild rice
1 large bunch green onions
1 large can sliced mushrooms
1 large chopped bell pepper
1/2 lb. pork sausage
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. pepper
1 tsp. thyme
1 tsp. sugar
Dash of garlic
1 pint Oysters & liquid

Wash rice and cook in boiling water until tender. Meantime, fry onions, mushrooms, pepper and sausage. Combine rice, sausage mixture, Oysters and seasonings in large baking dish. Bake at 350 F for 20 minutes. Do not allow to dry out.

Serves 12
