Basic Herb Marinade and Salad Dressing

4 Garlic cloves; minced
1/4 c Chopped fresh basil
2 tb Chopped fresh oregano
2 tb Red wine vinegar
1 ts Salt
1/2 ts Black pepper
1/4 c Extra-virgin olive oil
1/3 c Water


In a small bowl, combine the garlic, basil, oregano, vinegar, salt, and pepper. Slowly pour in the olive oil and whisk constantly until the oil is emulsified.

Use immediately or store airtight in the refrigerator for up to 4 days.

MAKES ABOUT 1/3 CUP
