Curry Goat

3 lb Goat meat, cut in 2-inch squares
1 1/2 Onions, divided
3 tb Curry powder
1 tb Dried thyme leaves
2 ts Pepper
1 ts Salt
1/4 c Crisco Oil


Place meat in glass baking dish. Season with 1 chopped onion, curry, thyme, pepper, and salt. Cover and refrigerate overnight.

Remove meat from refrigerator next day. Place meat in large saucepan. Cover with water. Add oil. Simmer 1 hour 30 minutes. Add remaining half chopped onion. Simmer 15 minutes.
