4 c Apples; peeled, cored and chopped (about 2 pouds)
1/2 c Firmly packed brown sugar
1/2 c Bottled lemon juice; from concentrate
1/3 c Raisins
1/4 c Chopped green bell pepper
1/4 c Chopped onion
3/4 ts Ground cinnamon
1/4 ts Salt
In medium saucepan, combine all ingredients; mix well. Place over high
heat and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low; simmer, uncovered, 30 to 40
minutes, or until apples are tender.
Serve warm or cold. Makes 2 cups. Serves 8
