Apple Butter

2 quart (8 cups) unsweetened applesauce
3 1/2 cups sugar
1 cup water
1 package grape Jello
3 tsp cinnamon
1 1/2 tsp ground cloves
1/2 tsp allspice

Combine all ingredients in slow cooker. Cook for 8 to 10 hours on HIGH. Stir occasionally. Remove lid during last half hour of cooking time. When done, spoon into clean, hot jars and seal. Makes 5 to 6 pints of apple butter.
