2 cans cherry pie filling
1 (18. 25-ounce) package yellow cake mix
1/4 cup (1/2 stick) butter, softened to room temperature
1/2 cup chopped nuts
For serving: vanilla ice cream or whipped cream
Pour cherry pie filling into slow cooker, spreading it out evenly.
In large bowl, combine dry cake mix with butter until mixture is crumbly. Sprinkle evenly over cherries. Sprinkle with nuts.
Turn slow-cooker on low, cover and cook 3 hours.
Presentation: Serve hot from slow-cooker. Accompany with ice cream or whipped cream.
Yield: 6-8 servings
